Researchers and scientists are exploring several different theories and explanations for how Homeopathy works. These include areas like nanoparticles, that high dilutions of something are not nothing, they are dilutions, and also the ability of water molecules to carry the pattern of substances.

Do I need to bring my baby or child along if you’re treating them ?
Yes, whether we meet in person or online I do need to see and meet your child.
You may want to say things out of their hearing and we can arrange a time to do that too.
I need to learn who they are as a person, what they need help with and be able to observe how they are, how they play and interact with people and things. They could just be playing or drawing in the room, or come and go if we’re talking online, all that is what I’d expect.

What does the fee cover ?
Your fee covers the time we spend together talking, and reflects the time taken during the consultation and afterwards. This can be anything from one or several hours of research and study time.
Following our meeting, I will spend time working on your case and researching to find the best remedy for you.
For most UK clients a remedy is sent to you after the consultation, so remedy cost, postage and packaging is covered.
As I am a Registered practitioner with the Society of Homeopaths there is a registration fee and insurance paid.
I am committed to having regular Professional Supervision and to Continual Professional Development and learning so that I can find the remedies that will be best for you. So my knowledge and skills in Homeopathy are up to date and constantly evolving.
What is different about Homeopathy ?
There are many many things that are different about Homeopathy, here are a few.
Homeopathic remedies are prescribed for you, not for a named condition or diagnosis.
With Homeopathy we give an individualised remedy prescription to match your state of health and pattern of symptoms.
Homeopathy works with your immune system, Vital Force and self-healing abilities to bring you back towards health. It does not block or suppress symptoms.
I look at symptoms as information and messages from your body about what is not alright and what needs to heal.
Homeopathy is an energy medicine so there is no toxicity or drug interactions to worry about.
Is there any research and evidence on Homeopathy ?
Yes, there is. We certainly need more good studies on individualised Homeopathy. There are some really interesting ones already published and ongoing.

What if I’m taking prescribed medication ?
I will advise you to continue taking any prescribed medications.
Homeopathy will work well alongside these.
As Homeopathy is an energetic medicine it works in a very different way to allopathic / conventional drugs there are no drug interactions to worry about.
Keep a good relationship with any medical and other healthcare practitioners. We all want the best for you.
What are the benefits of meeting online on Zoom or Skype ?
Online consultations can be ideal if you:
• Simply prefer to be in the comfort of your own home and space
• Need an “out of hours” appointment
• Find it difficult to travel to a clinic location
• Need something to fit around work, caring for your family, children, and other commitments.
• Are too unwell to get out of the house
• Have problems with mobility, energy or travel restrictions
• Might be contagious with an acute illness.
• Know your child or teenager just won’t come along to an appointment but would be happy to chat on Zoom or Skype.
• You don’t have a homeopath local to you, or want to work with a homeopath who doesn’t live near you.
You can arrange your Homeopathy appointments from anywhere in Scotland, the UK and the world.
Appointments are available internationally to fit with your time zone, please just ask.

Are there any side effects ?
Not side effects. Any effects are from your response to the remedy.
As the remedies are so dilute there is no toxicity, they act as a stimulus to your body and energy system.

Do I get one remedy or a mixture ?
I always give one remedy at a time, then I can be clearer about what you have responded to. Because we prove/learn about remedies one source material at a time, that is what makes sense to me with Homeopathic principles and philosophy.
Occasionally, for example after surgery or an accident, I may suggest you alternate remedies over the first few days.
