Hello,
Many people have a small basic kit at home and start learning how and when to use remedies in simple acute illnesses or to support healing from accidents and injuries.
It is so helpful to learn about homeopathy in acute prescribing, become familiar with different remedies, and to know when it is appropriate to self-prescribe for minor injuries and acute illness, and how to choose and give remedies.
I will be running introductory classes in July and August.
Classes are focussed on using remedies from a basic kit eg Helios 36 Basic kit and Ainsworth’s 42 remedy kit. These are remedies you will find mentioned in many introductory and self-help books on homeopathy.
We have around 8,500 remedies now which Homeopaths prescribe for deeper, chronic and long-term health problems, and for acute situations too.
Follow-on classes will be available in August / September to learn more, share experiences and ask questions. We will look at other remedies to have in your home kit.
Handouts, a booklist and remedy charts/notes will be emailed to you
Topics will include:
A short introduction to the history, philosophy and principles of Homeopathy
Acute prescribing, when appropriate to self-prescribe, how to choose and give remedies safely in situations such as:
